1984年出版，Stephen King所写的奇幻向YA小说《龙之眼 The Eyes of the Dragon》被Hulu及制片公司FOX 21相中，Seth Grahame-Smith会负责改编剧本并担任制片人。（报导指竞投此项目的另一对手是Apple）
这部剧讲述国王Roland的魔法师Flagg认为皇后Sasha生下两名王子Peter及Thomas后，这将会威胁到他操纵王国的阴谋，因此Flagg害死了皇后，再用毒陷害Peter毒杀了国王，令Peter被囚禁起来。接着Flagg推举了较软弱的Thomas成为国王，而Flagg正式获得了无上权力……不过此时Peter试图逃狱并阻止Flagg的计划。
